I'm going to be a big sister in September!

Here he (I want a brother :)) is at 8 weeks. He is in Mommy's tummy. I asked Daddy if he had a baby in his tummy and he said, "No."

Today was the first day I've every played in the snow. Before we went out, I had to put on:
- Three shirts
- A beanie hat
- A big coat (hood up)
- Two pairs of socks
- Boots
- Mittens
- Sunglasses
(I'm surprised I didn't have to wear two diapers!)

After yesterday's snowball incident, I asked Daddy not to hit me. Mommy said we could hit him. I took the highroad and said no.

Thanks Grammy and PawPaw for the sled-saucer! It was perfect on our driveway. (And Daddy said we'd never use that thing when I got it for Christmas.) Mommy said that I said, "I want to do it again, Daddy." 50 times.

We got our first real snow of the year today. I loved it...until Daddy hit me with a snowball. Mommy said he was just playing, and it only hit my jacket, but I didn't like it (I cried).

Daddy and I are big Alabama fans. Tonight Alabama plays for an NCAA record-tying 13th National Championship in its record setting 57th bowl appearance.

Daddy and PawPaw got to see Alabama win its 22nd SEC Championship (a record by 9 championships...can you tell Alabama is pretty good :)) in Atlanta in December. I had fun looking for them on TV. They got to see Alabama's first Heisman Trophy winner, Mark Ingram, play in person!

I love pumpkins. I like pumpkins so much that when I see them at a store, that store is henceforth known as "The Pumpkin Patch" (a.k.a. Target).

Mommy thinks I'm way too close to the carving knife, but Daddy and I were careful. For some reason it never occurs to us to take a picture of the finished product. Trust me, it was cool.

Here are pictures from my 2nd birthday party. Dad told Mom she put on the best kids party he'd ever been to. He said he had a great time. This is saying something since dad doesn't like birthday parties very much (except mine, of course). I loved it! We had a pool to swim in, a sprinkler to run through, a slide, and a jumpy gym. There was even something for the dads - bocci.

People keep saying I'm pretty strong and pretty fast for a nearly two year old (I'll be two in 17 days!). Here are some pictures of me in action.

I love to share. Here I am with my best friend, Avery, playing ball. It only looks like I was taking the ball away from her and running. She actually asked me to so she could chase me.

Here I am doing a "run by." I like to run around in the yard and look at all my fans (Mommy and Dat-Tee) as I fly by...

Mommy does a great job keeping the house clean. I like to help when I can. Here I am taking care of the dishes...

Last weekend I went to cousin Joshua's house. I got to hang out with my four cousins (all boys). They kept talking about something called "Star Wars." Here's my oldest cousin, Winston Alan, teaching me how to use a "light saber."

Logan, my youngest cousin, seemed particularly in to it. Here he is taking out his dad...

Yep, there's a lot of "boy stuff" happening in my world. But it's ok. I get to wear a dress at least every Sunday. Dat-Tee says I'm the most beautiful girl in the world.

Here's what I've been up to this summer...

When it's too hot to play outside, I watch TV (mom lets me watch up to 20 minutes of TV a day!).

Paw Paw let me help water the yard. He didn't let me help as much as I wanted.

I got to hang out with my cousins on Father's Day weekend. Here we are with Paw Paw.

Here I am helping mom in the garden. I'm not sure what was up with my diaper (Dad did some Photoshop blurring to keep the site rated G).

Here are some recent pictures of me...

Here I am in the annual Atlanta "snow storm." I wasn't impressed, but dad had to have a picture.

For comparison, here I am in last year's storm. It was a lot prettier and I was a lot smaller.

I went to a friend's birthday party and got to dress up as a princess. I kept my tiara on for the rest of the day.

I got to play with my cousin's big wheel. It was too big for me but I didn't care.

I've learned to climb up and down off the couch. Here's a picture of me when I first started. Dad wanted to stay closer in case I fell, but when he walked towards me, I said, "Stay!" He took some pictures instead.

I was in my first wedding this weekend. I was the flower girl in uncle Matt's wedding. My cousin, Jacob, and I got to start the ceremony. Mom and dad said we stole the show...at least for a little while.

Fall is in the air

Fall is in the air, but that doesn't stop me from getting out and playing. I LOVE to play outside, even in the cold. I keep going to the closet door to get my shoes. I'm hoping mom and dad will figure out that's their cue to take me out to play.

I love to play on rocks (Dad's hoping I'll be a rock climber...he doesn't say anything, but I can tell)
