Congrats to Alabama's football team on a huge Cotton Bowl victory and its NCAA-record 28th 10-win season
It's great to be an Alabama football fan.
This season wasn't pretty, but the last six years didn't exactly set it up for success. Here's to a team that has endured probably as much as any college football team ever has (see my previous post on Alabama's recent history for details).
Despite the adversity, with its 13-10 win over Texas Tech (which has the 2nd-ranked offense in the nation), Alabama finished the season 10-2 and extended its NCAA records for most bowl appearance (54), most bowl wins (30) and most 10-win seasons (28).
